Gear Library

What is it?

Through generous donations from bike businesses and individuals, we have collected essentially everything someone needs to go bikepacking! Our Gear Library Committee manages our gear inventory that folks can check out for Slow Spokes overnights and personal trips.

Who can use it?

Any trans, non-binary, gender-expansive, or woman rider in the Missoula area can check out gear to use free of charge. You don’t have to have attended or plan to attend a Slow Spokes event to borrow from our Gear Library.

What are the limitations?

Gear is not available to check out for personal trips during dates of Slow Spokes overnights, as we prioritize gearing up folks who come bikepacking with us.

Because we are a tiny organization, it’s rarely possible for us to replace stolen or damaged gear. We expect Gear Library borrowers to treat our gear with care, ensuring it can be used by folks for years to come. We understand that accidents happen and will work with you to replace or fix damaged or stolen gear.
